Manchester – changed in winter RB Leipzig’s former captain Marcel Sabitzer (28) surprise to Manchester United. Now another player who has turned his back on the Saxons could join: Brian Brobbey (21)!

The Dutchman, who is currently under contract at Ajax Amsterdam, could also go to the island in the summer.

At least when it comes to his former coach Erik ten Hag (53), with whom he had already worked in the Netherlands and is now the coach of the “Red Devils”.

According to “fichajes”, ten Hag continues to believe in the qualities of the 21-year-old, who never really arrived at the Bundesliga club and was only noticed by his lack of willingness.

However, Brobbey’s contract runs until 2027 after a long exchange theater with the lawn ballers. In 26 appearances this season, he still scores ten goals. But the beefy attacker doesn’t play much more than a joker role.

Whether Ajax are willing to give up the promising talent now that so much money has been invested remains to be seen.

By the way: The attacker now seems to have realized that the free transfer to the Red Bulls in 2021 was a mistake.

Opposite the Dutch portal “voetbalnieuws.nl” said Edwin van der Sar (52), former national keeper and current manager of Ajax Amsterdam, that his protégé had seen: “He made a mistake and he admitted it. He said he shouldn’t have gone.”
