Great concern for Paul Will! The Dynamo Dresden midfielder injured his right foot badly in the narrow win against SC Verl.

“It spoils the mood of the entire team, there’s not really any joy there,” said a visibly sad Markus Beginning (48) after the 3-2 win. Dynamo’s coach fears “a fracture. Unfortunately, the doctor is currently assuming it will.”
It happened in the 76th minute when the redhead splashed in a dangerous situation in his own penalty area, but a losing player unintentionally stepped on his foot.
“He’s just a fighting pig, he showed it again in action. He throws himself in there,” explains keeper Stefan Drljaca (23). But he didn’t realize exactly what happened. 15 minutes earlier, Will had to be treated on his thigh.

But this time he immediately fell to the ground with a loud scream, was treated for minutes and had to be carried to the catacombs on a stretcher.
From there we went straight to the hospital. A diagnosis was still pending on Saturday.

“I’m afraid it doesn’t look so good. I only heard him scream, but I’m afraid it will be something more serious,” admits Tim Knipping (30).
Dynamo’s captain knows from his own experience what it’s like to come back from a serious injury: “That’s why all our thoughts are with him. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that hopefully it won’t be that bad after all.”
Immediately after the final whistle, the team showed with a nice gesture that they are thinking of Will. Stefan Kutschke (34) had placed one of the midfielder’s jerseys directly in front of the curve with his own fans to signal: The win also belongs to him.

Knipping: “We stand by each other. Not only when we win, we’ve already done that during the difficult weeks.”
