Akudama Drive Season 2 Plot
In contrast, if you watched the first year of Akudama Drive, you know know the plot: in a dystopian future where Kansai was a vassal state of Kant, a gang of very skilled criminals known as Akudama get a request from an anonymous client to prevent Cutthroat from being executed by freeing him first.
Four Akudama accept the challenge and make their way inside the Kansai Police Headquarters with an effort to earn a sizable amount of money.
When they enter, they discover that the mission was a part of a larger scheme by their client to coerce them into working together on a trickier assignment: hacking inside the Shinkansen and stealing valuables from a vault at the front of the train.
The job is given to a low-level hoodlum whom was inadvertently released from jail after the first theft and an ordinary female who was imprisoned on a minor offence but forced to retain the appearance of a con artist.
In order to accomplish the assignment and get their substantial prize, the crew must work together to stay one step ahead of the executioners of the Kansai Police who are hard on their trail.
The bulk of the main characters from Akudama Drive are no longer alive. As a result, Akudama Drive season 2 could have a new cast of characters.
Kanto’s technological innovations may be studied in further depth. The brother and sister might still serve as the show’s primary characters.
The situation for the impoverished in Kansai is becoming worse, and law enforcement are becoming less effective due to a lack of authority.
Despite having cybernetic displays or neon lights, the city’s gloomy alleyways are home to “Akudama,” or fugitives.
After learning regarding these fugitives, the Kansai Police Department focuses on prosecuting an infamous Akudama “jackfruit,” who was discovered guilty of murdering hundreds of people.
The jackfruit is later released if someone has put enough money on the queue and has received an anonymous message permitting them to do so.
In response to this advice, four inhabitants of Akudam go to the Kansai Police Department with the expectation of getting a big prize, only to learn that a lot of work was done.
A reward was placed on their heads in order to draw them together for the difficult mission of entering Shinkansen. He was sent to steal assets from a safe outside the Shinkansen.
An “ordinary” girl is forced to “fake” her personality in the middle of all of this after being detained for minor infractions.
The squad will now need to work together to fight the Kansai Police Executioners Department and earn hefty rewards.
