“Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny”, the new title in English, which will be released in theaters on June 30, 2023, has published its first trailer.
The trailer premiered at Brazil Comic Con 2022 and gives us a real look at what will surely be Harrison Ford’s last film as Indiana.
The trailer opens with John Rhys-Davies’ Sallah talking to Indiana and reminiscing about his past adventures, saying there may be one more knocking on his doors despite Indiana saying “those days are long gone”.
What follows are quick cuts from the film, including flashes of a digitally recreated younger Indiana, a glimpse of the goddaughter, Helena, played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, a classic scene with whips, guns and well-timed dodges, and even a Little nod to the Millennium Falcon.
Lucasfilm has also released a new poster for the highly anticipated movie, and it’s a simple yet striking image of Indiana Jones himself.
The first trailer for Indiana Jones 5, as the title was known until now, was revealed at D23 2022, and attendees were treated to an emotional Harrison Ford talking about the film.
