Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania First Trailer Shows Off Kang and More

The first trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has finally been released, giving us our first look at the MCU’s villainous variant of Kang the Conqueror, and much more.

The new trailer shows the setting of the film, with the Lang and Pym families being dragged into the Quantum Realm after setting up a “deep space satellite, but quantum”. From there, we see a ton of footage, from sci-fi civilizations to the giant version of Ant-Man being disassembled… as Scott Lang looks on.

But the most important thing is that we may see two different versions of kang: one that seems to want to help Scott Lang and company, and the other version (much bluer) of the character that seems to be the main threat of the film.

Here you can see the official trailer in Spanish:

Kang was first introduced in the Loki series, which also ushered in the Marvel multiverse, and set the stage for multiple variants of Kang to appear and threaten to become the Conqueror figure of the comics. Marvel boss Kevin Feige has called Quantumania as “a direct line to Phase 5 and the Kang Dynasty”referring to the first of the two Avengers movies set to arrive in 2025.

However, we don’t get to see the glimpse of MODOK that D23 attendees got back in September. We will probably see it in another trailer before the premiere of the film, on February 17 of next year.

We also have a new official poster of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
