From its weapons to its bosses, through the stages and its exploration, the IGN First contents have shown us a lot about the beginning of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. So far, all of our images have been from the early stages of the game, but how does Team Ninja change things later on? What kind of weapons and spells can be learned and obtained? How can your character evolve? Do the stages get harder?
To answer these questions, let’s take a look at a game made by one of the developers of Team Ninja in the middle phase of the gameHulaoguan Pass.
Hulaoguan Pass is the scene of many historical battles, in this case the confrontation between the dissidents led by Yuan Shao and Dong Zhuo, who had occupied Luoyang, the ancient capital of China. Team Ninja has implemented this in Wo Long as a huge battle location with siege weapons that can be used by the player. The Hulaoguan Pass is much broader than the previous scenarios and can be approached in multiple ways.. Break through the front lines and fight hordes of fierce enemies to reach General Hua Xiong, or take a detour and find your way inside through the castle walls.
Both routes ultimately lead to an epic battle against the powerful warlord Lu Bu. Will this high-level player make it to Lu Bu, and if so, will he be able to defeat the mighty warlord of the Three Kingdoms? Do not miss it.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will be released on March 3 for PS5/PS4/Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One/PC and will be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one.
