The sports court of the German Football Association (DFB) has banned the French international for a total of one game after his red card in the 2-3 defeat at Borussia Mönchengladbach for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Upamecano was sent off the field last Saturday in the 8th minute by referee Tobias Welz (45) after an emergency brake to Alassane Plea (29) in Borussia Park.
Coach Julian Nagelsmann (35) had complained extremely massively about the dismissal and had even become abusive to the referee team in the dressing room (“softened pack”).

The trainer of the record champions is therefore still threatened with a ban by the DFB.
