First trailer of Gen V, the spin-off series of The Boys that looks like a gore version of Sesame Street


The first trailer for the spin-off series of The Boys set in college, Gen V, is filled with all the gore and superpowers expected of The Boys. Oh, and also what appears to be a bloody version of Sesame Street.

Gen V, which has been described as “part college series, part The Hunger Games”, takes place at Vought International’s Godolkin University, the only college made exclusively for young adult superheroes.

Throughout its episodes, which will premiere in 2023, the series will explore “the lives of the hormonal and competitive Supes as they test their physical, sexual and moral limits, competing for the best ranking in the school.”

Gen V will star Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas, and Marco Pigossi. The spin-off cast will also be bolstered by Clancy Brown, Alexander Calvert, and Jason Ritter.

Also, the trailer confirms the appearances Jessie T. Usher (A-Train), Colby Minifie (Ashley Barrett) and PJ Byrne (Adam Bourke), who will reprise their roles on the main series.

Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters are the series’ directors and executive producers.. Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. It is hoped that this new series will ease the wait for Season 4 of The Boys, which currently does not have a release date. However, Prime Video has revealed the new cast members for the upcoming season and has confirmed that Simon Pegg will be making his return.
