Berlin/Brunswick – The football keeps writing strange stories off the green lawn: on Friday evening, two fans were pushed out of the stadium – because of Max Kruse (34)!

The star kicker who is currently without a club only had something to do indirectly with the whole affair, because Kruse is only in advanced training and is still looking for a club after being booted out at VfL Wolfsburg and terminating his contract.

So what happened? Kruse received a private message on Instagram, which he published in his story, in which two football fans told him about the incident.

The scene of the crime was therefore the stadium in Braunschweig. Here the two wanted to watch yesterday’s second division game between Eintracht Braunschweig and Holstein Kiel, which the hosts lost 2:3 in the end.

“Hi Max, my colleague and I flew out of the Eintracht Stadium today,” reported the trailer. And the reason now seems really very strange.

“My colleague has you in the VfL jersey as his background image,” explained the battle loafer.

A “crass Braunschweig-Ultra” saw that and then “forced and threatened” the two with two like-minded people from the block and even from the stadium, one of those affected said to the football professional.

Well, Braunschweig and Wolfsburg are only half an hour’s drive from each other, which explains a certain rivalry with the big, rich opponent from the Bundesliga, but that’s going too far.

Also found Max, who commented on what was happening with “Sad world” and a matching disgruntled emoji. But that’s not all, as the 34-year-old even replied to the fan personally, as can be seen from the chat history posted.

“I’m really sorry,” Kruse regretted the incident and then had a surprise ready: “Should I play iwo football again, I’ll invite you and your friend to a game,” he announced generously.

The only question is how things will look if Max Kruse is possibly in the Major League Soccer should hire. Will he then fly the two football fans to the USA at his own expense? So be it Berliner by choice reacted to this message at all is by no means a matter of course and is a fine move.
