GoldenEye 007 confirms its release on Nintendo Switch Online and Xbox Game Pass this week


One of the N64 classics, GoldenEye 007, finally coming to Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack and Xbox Game Pass on January 27.

The release date has been announced on the official Nintendo YouTube channel and on the official Xbox Wire website. This indicates, finally, the moment in which the players will be able to get back into the role of James Bond both in single player mode as in your beloved multiplayer.

A series of leaks and rumors were finally confirmed by the two companies in September last year, although GoldenEye 007 He only received the “coming soon” sign when asking for his release date.

Those who want to enjoy the title on Switch, must have the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack (which adds the N64 digital library), while Xbox users they will be able to download it at no additional cost through Xbox Game Pass.

However, the two versions of the game are not identical, as only the Nintendo Switch version will include online multiplayer (the first time this feature has been officially available for the 26-year-old game). The Xbox version will be a remastered edition which will include new control options, achievements, 16:9 resolution and even 4K Ultra HD resolution.
