Paul Dano’s comic from The Batman confirms a connection theory between his universe and Superman’s

The latest issue of The Batman’s Riddler: Year One comic confirms that Metropolis, the city of Superman, exists in the same world.

As Heroic Hollywood points out, many fans have noticed that the latest issue of Riddler: Year One, the Batman comic written by Paul Dano, references Metropolis, the well-known city of Superman. This means that the city of the Last Son of Krypton exists in the same universe as The Batman.

This new comic serves as a spin-off of the movie The Batman, where we could see the actor Robert Pattinson playing the Batman. Riddler: Year One is made up of six issues and explore the origins of Enigma. This new work has been written by Paul Dano, who played the villain in The Batman.

Robert Pattinson’s Batman, like a host of superheroes, is waiting to see what his future will be in the new DC Studios. Peter Safran and James Gunn have yet to reveal their plans for the studio’s future, but new reports indicate the Matt Reeves-created Batman franchise could be saved.

This has not been the case with Henry Cavill, who abandons his precious cape, nor with Ben Affleck, who will leave the dark night to direct a DC movie (as long as he agrees and they know how to find the right movie). We will be able to see Affleck once again as Batman in The Flash, a film that will be released on June 16, 2023.
