The Army’s Research and Referral (R&R) Hospital on Tuesday said that Pranab Mukherjee’s condition was critical and he was placed on a life support system. A day before his brain surgery was done.

84-year-old Mukherjee was admitted to the military hospital on Monday afternoon and Kovid-19 was also confirmed before surgery.
The new medical bulletin released by the hospital on Tuesday said, “The condition of former President Pranab Mukherjee remains critical and he has been kept on life support system. The former president’s brain surgery was done on Monday due to a blood clot. There is no improvement in his condition and the situation remains fragile. ”
