Just a few days ago, the Dresden producer and DJ Purpe Disco Maschine, alias Tino Piontek (42), won a Grammy on the American west coast in the “Best Remix Recording” category, the world’s most important music prize.
He now has black on yellow that he is number one.
Dynamo and the Rudolf Harbig Stadium congratulated the musician with a very special jersey after the last home game on Saturday. The player’s name “Purple Disco Machine” is written on the back – and a large “1” and “Grammy” are emblazoned underneath. All players have signed the shirt.
Perhaps Piontek will be inspired by the heartbeat in the players’ dressing room when writing a new song – after all, he has occasionally been spotted at a game in the stadium.
“Since we also have music events in the stadium, it was a matter close to our hearts,” says stadium event manager Simone Wendt.
