Sushant Rajput was found hanging in his house in suburban area Bandra on June 14. After meeting Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut, the NCP chief told reporters here, “Whatever our grandson (nephew’s son) has said, we do not attach any importance to it. He is immature right now… I have clearly stated that we have 100 percent confidence in the Maharashtra Police. But, if anyone still wants the case to be investigated by the CBI, there is no reason to oppose it. ”He was asked that some people, including his grandson Parth Pawar, want the matter investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation. Partha Pawar, who lost the Lok Sabha elections from Maval seat in Maharashtra, is the son of Deputy Chief Minister of the state and Ajit Pawar, nephew of Pawar.
Partha Pawar met state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on July 27 and demanded that the CBI or a special investigation team be investigated for Rajput’s death. Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut on Sunday claimed that a game of pressure is being played in the case of Rajput’s death and that the case is being politicized as part of a conspiracy against Maharashtra.
Meanwhile, after meeting with Pawar for about an hour, Raut said that it was a normal meeting during which various issues were discussed. He tweeted, “Yes, I met Sharad Pawar and discussed the development of the country and the state. There is no need to worry or have stomach ache. ‘
