So you can try to win one of the almost two hundred Steam Deck that will be given away at The Game Awards

It’s been a big year for Valve – after the release of its Steam Deck in February, the company has finally fixed the supply chain issues and pre-orders are no longer required, so getting hold of this portable device is much easier than at its release.

To celebrate, Valve is giving away several Steam Decks to a handful of lucky The Game Awards viewers. For every minute of the gala, Valve will give away a 512 GB Steam Deck, thus adding almost 200 Steam Decks.

“It’s been a really fun year for the Steam Seck, and we’ve been amazed at the response,” Valve wrote in a post on the Steam News Hub.

Fans in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and the European Union can win one of the Steam Decks that are raffled, the first thing to do is register. there also have to be made a purchase on Steam between November 14, 2021 and November 14, 2022, as well as being up to date and not have a limited account.

Giving away 180 Steam Decks is a far cry from early on, when Valve had to use a strict queuing system to make sure everyone who wanted a Steam Deck could get it. As the year progressed and supply chain issues abated, Valve began ramping up production and delivery of Steam Decks to customers, something that has fueled the existence of this giveaway.

From supply-chain shortages to a Steam Deck every minute.

The raffle will start on December 9 at 01:30 pm (Spanish peninsular time)at which time The Game Awards 2022 will kick off. Steam Deck owners must also watch the Steam Stream for a chance to be one of the lucky winners.
