Hamburg – The 23-year-old striker has been playing since the summer of 2022 David Otto now for that FC St. Pauli. Am Wednesday the footballer answered a few questions, also completely outside of the sport Instagram.

Followers of the club were previously allowed to send in questions, which the striker answered in several short story snippets during a car ride, among other things.

The 23-year-old was filmed mostly from the right side, which made his distinctive scar under the short hairstyle particularly effective.

A frequently asked question was about exactly that. Pauli followers, who must have seen the scar many times, wanted to know how the athlete contracted it.

He fell off a horse when he was six years old. This then hit him in the head with his horseshoe, explained David. Ouch! “Fortunately nothing else happened, except maybe a little damage that I can’t assess,” joked the 23-year-old. Only the scar that remains.

With the football career it worked anyway. But what would he have become if that weren’t the case? “In the end, of course, I didn’t think about it that much,” he revealed to the curious fans and followers.

“But on the one hand, Lkind of cool, I think, for me. Or then really something where you tackle manual work. Landscape gardener or building houses, I would also find something in that direction quite good,” says the high school graduate.

Whether it will ever come to that is more than questionable.

On the other hand, he knows exactly which animal he is most likely to have were. A bald eagle!

“Ever since vacationing with my family in Canada, my sister and I used to call each other nicknames back when we were little, and that’s why I’m saying it.” Whether his sister called him a bald eagle or perhaps “Weisi”, “Kopfi” or something similar remained his secret.

The topic of nutrition also played a role during the question and answer session.

Now we know: David prefers currywurst to a fish roll, likes to eat butter under Nutella and has nothing against the Hawaiian pizza, which has now become widely discredited. Have a good meal.
