Jedi: Survivor is a direct response to feedback from our community, with expansive destinations to explore, evolved combat and navigation, and of course, the continuation of Cal and BD’s story. Making this game has made us a better team, and we’ve done our best to make it the sequel to Star Wars that our fans have come to expect from Respawn and Lucasfilm Games.

In order for the team to meet Respawn’s quality bar, give it the time it needs, and achieve the level of polish our fans deserve, we’ve added a crucial six weeks to our release schedule. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released globally on April 28.

Thank you to EA and Respawn for giving us the time to provide the best experience for our players, and to all of you for your understanding.”

That has been a particular problem at EA in recent years. In 2021, Battlefield 2042 was heavily criticized for its launch problemsand while its development team has worked tirelessly to address community feedback, it still suffers from various issues.

In December, we had the chance to speak with Cal Kestis actor Cameron Monaghan about his desire to see Cal teaming up with Yaddle. What do you think of this idea?
