Strike Witches Season 3 Release Date, Cast, Plot, and Everything You Need to Know

In Strike Witches Season 3: Road To Berlin, the Strike Witches are back with a spectacular collection of tales.

In the third season’s continuation, we will finally get to enjoy the amazing Strike Witches plot after an extended amount of time.

The July 7, 2015, publication of the book Monster Musume served as the basis for this anime.

In this post, we’ll talk about the release date of the third season of “Strike Witches,” why it’s so popular, and a number of other intriguing aspects of the programme.

After ten years, Strike Witches Season 3 is now available. Its two seasons, which were published from 2008 to 2010, were based on the light novel series of the same name.

The release for season 3 has received little attention ever then. In the meanwhile, a 2012 movie adaptation and the 2016 start of the Brave Witches spinoff series were released.

That was nice yet insufficient. The third season of the Star Strike Witches animated series has just been released, ten years later.

Fans of the Strike Witches, rejoice! The new season of Strike Witches: Road to Berlin features the return of the 501st Joint Fighter Wing!

Since the Strike Witches series debuted more than ten years ago, a number of manga series, light novels, video games, and even a few spin-off television episodes have been produced.

Recall that the series is directed by Shoji Saeki at the Shaft animation studio. Shundo Kana is a supporting director, and he also autographs the screenplay.

Character creation is attributed to Shiotsuki Kazuya in accordance with Fumikane Shimada’s first sketches.

The Strike Witches multimedia project, which Fumikane Shimada first developed in 2006, served as the inspiration for the anime series Luminous Witches.

A new, action-packed teaser for A Discovery of Witches’ final season has appeared, teasing the fantasy romance’s impending return in January 2022.

With many cast members touting the new series, including Teresa Palmer, who remarked that “all things feels very elevated,” it sounds like the next season is building up to be an epic event.

This anime’s third episode did not have a happy ending. Although Northern Karlsland Island was taken by the writers in the third season, the conclusion also reveals that Southern Karlsland and Ostmark remain under Neuroi control.

Furthermore, this season is different from the ones before. There will probably be additional assignments for the Strike Witches since they are unable to stop at all.

Many fans would also want to see a greater amount of Sakamoto, but since she lost her abilities, she was demoted to a supporting role. It’s possible that she may regain her abilities in the next season.

Although there has been a lot of buzz, it’s possible that the fourth season won’t air anytime soon. The Witches franchise’s developers had previously published two seasons, so the public had to wait a minimum of two years before season 4.

Strike Witches Season 3 Plot

The Strike Witches manga series was originally published in Japan in 2005. It was written by Tsuyoshi Tamai, Shouji Saeki, Takaaki Suzuki, and Tatsuhiko Urahata, and it was directed by Kazuhiro Takamura.

Strike Witches became so well-liked so quickly that it was adapted into a computer game, a franchise of light novels, and a television series.

Additionally, this anime franchise produced a number of fantastic anime films and spin-off series. On October 7, 2020, David Production, the anime’s producer, released Strike Witches season 3.

Strike Witches Road To Berlin is the name of this season. According to sources, the show’s fourth season, “The Battle of Noxia,” as well as its other spin-off series, Luminous Witches, were also cancelled.

Yoshika, a witch from Fuso who is enrolled in a medical programme in Lausanne, makes a full recovery from the tragic event that cost her all of her magical abilities in season 3 in Strike Witches Road to Berlin.

Although the third season will be adapted from the third novel in Deborah Harkness’ trilogy, it shouldn’t be too difficult to predict what events will occur in that season’s narrative.

A fresh caravan also provides some insights. After Diana’s aunt Emily passes away, there is a full-scale battle between vampires, witches, demons, with the Congregation attempting to prevent Diana from having children and the Clairmont family (for the most part) uniting behind her.

And one thing is for certain: It will be exciting. The BFI and Television Festival’s headliner Teresa Palmer hinted, “Everything feels very elevated,” during a panel discussion that was conducted online.

The risk, the passion, and the sorrow are all enormous, she continued. And there is a lot for us to confront and go over.

One of the more interesting developments, in my opinion, will be the blending of some of the 1590 personalities with modern-day ones. Therefore, I believe it will be intriguing to witness some of those individuals interact.

In his own words, “I’m 400 years older, so a lot has happened, and I’ll be a different person,” he said.

Palmer said it was a “bittersweet” experience to shoot the last season of the show, adding, “I enjoy witnessing the journey of every character to reach such a beautiful, organic finale.

And it is such a great aspect of this season to witness Diana at the height of her charm and simply leaning into her real self.

“I think there is definitely somewhat of an edge to that as you film it; the other day that we filmed a scene that will, I think, be one of the last scenes within the entire series, and that sort of had a strange feeling about it like the last day of school, even though it wasn’t the final one we were filming in the whole thing.”
