The six accused have been identified as Karamjit Singh Anand, Dwayne Fernandes, Sanket Patel, Ankush Anreja, Sandeep Gupta and Aftab Fateh Ansari, an official said. During the investigation, they have been caught after the names of all these came to light. He said that cases have been registered against all under the NDPS Act on drug control. The official said that Anand used to supply intoxicants, which are associated with the film industry. Also Read – Raj Bhavan reaches Kangana Ranaut, will meet Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari

Fernandes used to deal with Ganja and Charas and is an associate of Shouvik Chakraborty, the brother of actress Riya Chakraborty. The official said that the NCB suspected that Fernandes had supplied the narcotics, which was arranged for the actor.

The officer said that Patel used to work under Anand and he used to deliver narcotics to celebrities. Regarding Gupta’s role, he said that he is a rickshaw driver but he used to deliver narcotics to retail dealers like Fernandes.

He said that Ansari is an associate of Gupta. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of NCB is investigating the intoxicating case in which Riya Chakraborty, Shauvik, Rajput manager Samuel Miranda, domestic help Dipesh Sawant and others have been arrested.
