What Is The Storyline Of The Lincoln Lawyer?
The book The Brass Verdict by Michael Connelly is what the movie The Lincoln Lawyer is based on. The show is about an attorney named Mickey Haller who works in Los Angeles. Mickey is a well-known idealist lawyer who works out of his Lincoln Town Car, which serves as his office. The back of his car is his office, where he does his work. He was in a big accident that hurt him a lot, but he got back to work as a lawyer by trying to take on a murder investigation in Los Angeles.
The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 Plot
We know that the first season of The Lincoln Lawyer ended on a cliffhanger. There was a scene where Mickey was going surfing and a mysterious man with a tattoo on his forearm was watching him from a distance. Even so, loyal viewers of the show will realize when they see that man that he is probably the same person who was mentioned by a main witness in Jesus Menendez’s case, Glory Days.
For those who don’t know, Menendez was wrongly convicted of a murder he didn’t commit and had to spend more time in prison for the same crime. In season one, however, Glory’s testimony that he was really innocent got him out of jail. In fact, he also said that the real killer was a man whose forearm was covered in tattoos. Glory doesn’t say who he is, but when the last scene shows that tattooed forearm following Mickey on the beach, we realize that Mickey is in a lot of trouble. The second season will likely then go over what happened after Glory’s testimony and how the mystery man and Mickey met.
As was already said, season 2 of The Lincoln Lawyer will be based on Connelley’s book The Fifth Witness. In this book, Mickey defends Lisa Trammel, a longtime client who is accused of murdering her husband. Mickey gets a potential witness to take the Fifth Amendment before offering his testimony. This is important to the plot. This makes a reference to the right to refuse to answer questions that could help with a criminal case.
