Marvel Studios has pushed the release date of The Marvels from July 28, 2023 to November 10 of 2023. To help with the wait, Marvel has also released the first poster of The Marvels featuring Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), and Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris).
The poster, which shows the heroes of The Marvel in a line heading towards the stars, features the tagline “Higher. Farther. Faster. Together.”
For those hoping to hit theaters on July 28, Disney has taken that place with its live action movie Haunted Mansion with Jamie Lee Curtis, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito and more. The film based on the beloved Disney park attraction was originally set to open on August 11, 2023.
We Still Don’t Know Much About The Marvels, but we do know that it is set after the events of the Disney+ series Ms. Marvel, in which Kamala and Carol swapped places. The problem, however, is that this was a shock to both of them.
The first trailer for The Marvels was revealed behind closed doors at D23 2022, and much of it was set on the SABER space station, where Nick Fury is located. The footage showed more of Carol and Kamala’s tangle of powers, which also includes Monica Rambeau in her web.
This delay also comes after it was reported that Marvel may be holding back on the number of projects it wants to release in a year. The report focused mainly on television, however, and said that the second season of Loki and Secret Invasion are the only “safe bets” to premiere in 2023. The original plan was to release up to six.
Although The Marvels may be further away than some expected, fans of the MCU they can head to theaters right now to watch Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. In our review, we said that it “has just enough heart, humor, and great performances to make up for the less developed aspects of it.”
The wait for the next MCU movie isn’t too far off either, as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is set to hit theaters on May 5, 2023. Oh, and the movie has also dropped a great trailer, so keep checking back. see him.
