Let’s work out the rest together,’ “Isaac Aptaker said this about Dan Fogelman, who runs the show along with Aptaker. “So it’s true that all of the writers and actors know everything. We’re all fairly adept at maintaining secrets now that it’s been three years, but everyone who appears to work on the show knows everything, so no one has anything to hide.”
Frances Berwick, the head of entertainment networks at NBCU Television and Streaming, said, “We know it will be hard enough to say goodbye to the Pearsons, so we wanted to give fans as close to a continuous run as we could.” Aptaker added, “I would hope that when we reach our ending, people think it’s a really satisfying ending that makes sense and makes them feel like they’ve seen a complete piece of work because that’s really how we’re trying to plan it.” So, even though it’s sad for the audiences, the show won’t be back for a second season.

The show follows the lives of Randall and Kevin Pearson, who are twin brothers who have grown apart. They are played by Sterling K. Where This Is Us Season 7 Story Could Go?
In This Is Us, Jack and Rebecca Pearson lay down with their three young children sleeping between them. Fogelman said that the proposed This Is Us movie will be about an alternate timeline in which Jack survived the fire. It will show what the Pearsons’ lives would have been like if the patriarch had been there. If not, This Is Us season 7 could be about how the Big Three get on with their lives after Rebecca’s death. Since the show has a lot of flashbacks and dream scenes, Jack and Rebecca can still be a small part of the story.
