The new Korean drama on Netflix, Tomorrow, is about a young man named Choi Jun-woong. He is having trouble finding work when a horrific accident puts him in a coma. The event changes him into a half-human, half-spirit being and brings him into contact with grim reapers and other groups from the underworld. He finally gets a job when he joins the fast-paced risk management team at the afterlife organization Jumadeung. This team helps those who are experiencing suicidal thoughts.
Tomorrow is inspired by a popular webtoon that came out in 2017, just like a few of Netflix’s recent K-dramas. This gives it a lot of material to work with. Kim Tae-yoon and Sung Chi-wook are in charge of directing the show, which is also shown on MBC TV in South Korea. As of March 2022, neither MBC nor Netflix has said if Tomorrow will come back for a second season.
Is there going to be a second season of Tomorrow?
As of the time this article was written, MBC hadn’t yet decided to give Tomorrow a second season. Given that this has been getting good ratings over the past few weeks, it will be fascinating to see whether or not they actually make a second season.
The ratings started out at a respectable 7.6 percent across the country, but they have been steadily going down. In the last few weeks, the average rate has been about 2.5 percent. Since this is a weekend K-drama and there is a lot more going on, maybe that’s not that surprising.
There is a chance that Tomorrow will get a second season since the show is meant to focus more on individual episodes than on telling one long story. We don’t think Tomorrow will get a second season, though, since most Korean dramas finish their stories in one season and the scores have been pretty low.
What happens in the first season of Tomorrow?
Choi Jun-woong is the main character in the story. He is the son of a wealthy family and graduated from a prestigious school, but he can’t find a good job. One day, by chance, he meets Gu Ryeon, an angel of death, and a member of his crew. They were on a mission to stop people from killing themselves. He started working for them as a contract worker on the crisis management team for the death angels. Living like a proud man to save someone’s life is much better than anything else Choi was doing.
Tomorrow Season 2 Characters
The Korean drama “Tomorrow,” which was written by Ra Ma and Kim Yoo-Jin and directed by Sung Chi-Wook and Kim Tae-Yoon, will have about sixteen episodes and will be available on Netflix on April 1, 2022. So far, there isn’t any news about when season 2 will come out. The show’s creators and stars haven’t said whether or not the show will continue. Well, everything depends on how well season 1 did in the ratings and reviews. If it gets good ratings, there is a chance that it will be brought back.
