Apparently, a second spin-off of Scarlet Witch and Vision is in developmentwhich will feature the return of Vision, played by Paul Bettany.
Deadline informs that the new series will be called Vision Quest, and potentially star Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff. Apparently, some within Marvel are calling it the “White Vision project”, after the version of Vision that appeared in the climactic moments of Scarlet Witch and Vision.
If Vision Quest comes to fruition, it will join Agatha: Coven of Chaos as the second series to follow from the success of Scarlet Witch and Vision. Both series will be supervised by Jac Schaeffer.who was the creator, writer and executive producer of the first series.
Scarlet Witch and Vision has provided fertile creative ground for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Being the first of the Disney+ MCU series, it spawned a popular villain, Agatha Harkness, and tied directly into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. That movie left fans with a number of big questions, all of which could be answered in Vision Quest.
Reportedly, the writers room will open next week for Vision Quest, after which we may have some clarity on whether this series will actually happen. Meanwhile, Marvel Studios is focusing on Secret Invasion, which will be released sometime in spring 2023.
