Madrid – If only he hadn’t messed with that vicious woman! The Dutch goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen (33) has a lot of trouble with his ex María Morán. The Spanish TV presenter pulls the former Barça-Keeper now even in court. For the goalkeeper, it’s about more than just his honor.
Goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen (33) actually wanted to take it easy with his career at his hometown club NEC Nijmegen in the fall.
As the Spanish sports magazine Marca reports, the 63-time Dutch national player (Ajax, Barcelona, Valencia) has to refrain from an idyllic career end for the time being.
Reason: His ex-wife María Morán is suing him on several levels!

The well-known TV presenter accuses Cillessen, with whom she has a daughter, of serious moral mistakes in addition to the lack of maintenance payments: Among other things, the Dutchman is said to have neglected his family and made inappropriate comments.
The two are said to have split up a long time ago. As Teresa Bueyes (51), Morán’s lawyer, told “20minutos”, Cillessen is said to have cheated on his ex even while she was pregnant.
Morán accuses the former Barça keeper of particularly morally reprehensible misconduct in relation to her health-impaired daughter. So he didn’t pay for hospital costs when their child needed medical help.
Cillessen, who is said to have earned between five and seven million euros per season during his time in Spain alone, apparently refused to pay a contribution of 1,200 euros for his own daughter, which also enrages lawyer Bueyes.
“Maria’s grandfather had to take care of the matter, he is almost 90 years old, has never had a credit card and had to use his life savings to help his granddaughter.”
And what can you hear from Jasper Cillessen himself?
To anticipate: not much! In a brief statement to the “Telegraaf”, he said the following through his lawyer:
“There is no big story. During the time Jasper was in Spain, he had a brief relationship and a child was born. Paternity was accepted voluntarily by Jasper and now has to be confirmed in court. This formality is handled by taken over by Jasper’s lawyers in Spain. Then alimony will be discussed.”
Accidental incest? Excessive seed donations may soon cause problems here!
In addition, there are apparently different views on the amount of maintenance payments.
Jasper Cillessen’s footballing career was rather relaxed compared to his current personal situation, as Nijmegen’s current number one had to make do with the bench more often at both FC Barcelona and FC Valencia.
At Barça he never got beyond the role of challenger because Marc-André ter Stegen (30) couldn’t get through. In Valencia, the Dutchman commuted between bench and goal.
