The Mandalorian Season 3: What to expect?
The Mandalorian season 3 is probable to go into the culture and history of the Mandalorians much more deeply. Din Djarin met Bo-Katan and her Nite Owls in Season 2, and he agreed to assist them to take back Mandalore if they helped him get the Child back. Din beat Moff Gideon in a fight, took the Darksaber, and unknowingly became the rightful ruler of Mandalore.
As seen in The Book of Boba Fett, not all Mandalorians are happy to leave the Darksaber with Din Djarin. When he tries to bring together the scattered Mandalorians, he is likely to face problems. Din will have to train to use the Darksaber. Non-Jedi can use lightsabers, however, they have to practice meditative techniques that let them bond with the blade. Din Djarin doesn’t know any of these techniques right now.
Giancarlo Esposito and Katee Sackhoff have talked about Gideon and Bo-stories Katan’s in season 3 of The Mandalorian. They have also talked about Din’s story. Gideon went to jail at the end of Season 2, but Esposito has hinted that his character could get out of jail and come back in Season 3. (via The Direct). Bo-Katan has always thought of herself as the true heir to Mandalore, which longtime Bo-Katan actor Katee Sackhoff says would be explored in season 3.

The Mandalorian Season 3 Trailer
The new trailer for The Mandalorian season 3 came out during the NFL Wild Card playoff game between the Buccaneers and the Cowboys. The new Mandalorian season 3 trailer showed the most information about the new season so far in less than two minutes. Disney and Lucasfilm had a lot of success with shows like Andor and Obi-Wan Kenobi in 2022, but The Mandalorian is still the most popular Star Wars show on Disney+.
What about Boba Fett’s book?
This Mandalorian spinoff, which isn’t nearly as interesting as the original show, seemed to be about Boba Fett at first, but Mando and Grogu took over the show during the final three episodes (of eight total). It showed how the two got back together after being apart in the season 2 finale of The Mandalorian, so you should watch those episodes or read CNET’s recaps.
