You Season 4 Part 2: Release Date, Cast, Storyline, And Everything You Need To Know

0

You season 4, part 2 will be on Netflix in a few weeks. Part 1, which came out in early February, was a huge hit on the service. We saw Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) begin a fresh start in London as Professor Jonathan Moore, but his European vacation didn’t last long. The so-called Eat the Rich killer started going after Joe’s new friends, and they tried to frame him for their crimes. The killer’s real name was revealed in an exciting mid-season finale that kept us on the edge of our seats.

Before we proceed any further, though, you should know that there are main spoilers for You season 4 part 1 coming up. If you haven’t seen the new episodes yet, you should turn back now. And now, without any further ado, let’s dive into our full guide to You season 4 part 2, including everything from the release date to a breakdown of the trailer.

Why split the season in two?

You’s first three seasons, which each had 10 episodes, were not broken up into parts, so that’s a fair question. But Netflix has done the same thing with some of its bigger shows, like Stranger Things and Ozark, whose most recent seasons came out last year in two separate volumes.

For Stranger Things, producer Shawn Levy told The Hollywood Reporter that it was because the whole fourth season wasn’t ready to come out at once. So, instead of making people wait even longer, they set to release the first seven episodes as volume 1, which ended with “such a satisfying breaking point and pay-off moment that it’ll keep people fed for enough weeks so we can finish volume 2.”

The first half of the season is set up like a whodunit, with the killer being revealed in episode 5. However, the second half of the season will be different. “The plan was always to look for this killer, find them, and then have the conversation change the show in a way that may only be finished if Joe knows who he’s talking to,” Gamble said.

You season 4 part 2 cast: Who will be in it?

The number of characters in the first part of season four of You was pretty big, but, surprise, surprise, a few of them didn’t make it to the end.

Once you take out the people who have been knifed, chopped up, or killed in other unpleasant ways, the characters who are still alive (and probably in part two) are:

• Penn Badgley as Joe Goldberg: because without him, “You” wouldn’t be “You.”

• Charlotte Ritchie as Kate: who asked Joe out on a date the last time we saw her. He said no because he was thinking about other things, especially the “Eat the Rich” murderer who killed Kate’s boyfriend and friends and has been sending Joe murder texts.

• Lukas Gage as Adam: the hard-partying son of a wealthy American family and one of Kate’s super-rich friends.

• Tilly Keeper as Lady Phoebe: Kate’s best friend who survived the fire at her country estate and has knowledge of some of Kate and Joe’s secrets.

• Amy Leigh-Hickman as Nadia: another rich friend of Kate’s who is pretty bad.

•Ben Wiggins as Roald: who is crazy about Kate and doesn’t like Joe, and although Joe saved him from the fire at the country house. This isn’t likely to change.

• Ed Speleers as Rhys: who is running for mayor and who, it turns out, is the “Eat the Rich” killer who wanted Joe to be blamed for his crimes.

There is also a chance that Tati Gabrielle could come back as Joe’s season 3 crush Marianne, but their relationship seems to have come to a close when she met Joe in the first part of the new season.

What will happen in You season 4 part 2?

At the end of part 1, while visiting Lady Phoebe’s country estate in Hampsie, Joe is alleged of being the Eat the Rich killer. Roald chases him into the woods, but it turns out that Rhys Montrose was behind everything the whole time. Rhys tells Joe that he killed his friends and plans to make it look like Roald did it. After doing a lot of research on Joe’s past and murders (yes, Rhys was also Joe’s stalker), he informs Joe to kill Roald so they can frame the dead person.

Joe doesn’t do it because he’s changed, and the last shot of the season shows Rhys announcing that he’s running for mayor of London. Part 2 will probably show how Joe tries to find out the truth about who killed the people and not get blamed for it himself. Rhys will also continue to kill people in his group of friends, but who will be the next victim? Will Joe do anything to stop Rhys? Will Joe Goldberg add another murder to his list, which is already pretty grim? We’ll just have to see…

You season 4 part 2 trailer

The You season 4 part 2 trailer came out on February 15, and boy did it raise more inquiries than it answered. The most important thing was the coming back of a familiar face… We thought Joe’s ex-wife, Love Quinn, was very dead (Victoria Pedretti).

At the conclusion of season three, Joe ran away from his life with Love. He even cut off his toe to make it look like he had died while he burned down his house. So how the hell is she now in England, and in one of his glass cases, no less?

That’s not even taking into account the new mess he’s in with Rhys Montrose using him like a puppet to do what he wants and his possible relationship with Kate. And let’s not get us to begin on the chaos that is his group of friends who think they deserve everything.

When will You season 4 part 2 premiere?
