Dortmund – Will that affect his performance? BVBStriker Anthony Modeste (34) has been complaining to the Bonn Regional Court since last year. Now the dispute went to the next round.
The value in dispute is around 350,000 euros. According to a report in the “Bild-Zeitung”, he had ordered energy drinks from the company “Heavy 1 World GmbH”, which he then wanted to sell in France under his name.
He paid 250,000 euros for license fees and 100,000 euros for the product itself. However, he never saw the goods, let alone that the energy drink was ever sold.
According to Modeste, the drinks were supposed to be delivered to him, but that didn’t happen. The company, on the other hand, claims that the 34-year-old should have picked them up but never did. It is ultimately statement against statement.

On Friday, however, a former employee of the beverage manufacturer charged the company.
“There was criminal energy behind it. It was never planned for the company to deliver drinks to Mr. Modeste. Instead of going to France, the cans went to Morocco,” said the former sales employee.
