We end January’s IGN First coverage starring Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty by going back to the beginning. Take a look at the opening scene of the game that we can show you exclusively with Spanish subtitles:

In the video, we hear a man talk about an elixir sought by the rulers of ancient China. This elixir could grant immortality, but its power was overwhelmingly dangerous, and the elixir became the cause of conflict and political machinations over the years.

Although it is known that the ancient Chinese leaders were looking for that elixir of life, it seems that in the new action game from Team Ninja the elixir is real.

After the first phase of the battle against Zhang Liang (the boss from last year’s Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty demo), he swallows the elixir and turns into a demon. Could it be the demons that curse the land of Team Ninja’s fictional China? will come alive thanks to the elixir. Of course, this is just speculation, but it will be interesting to see it in the full game.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is out on March 3 for PS5/PS4/Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One/PC, as well as being available on Xbox Game Pass on day one.
