Oh – Die 3. Liga is almost in two parts. The first half fights for promotion and relegation place three, the other for staying up. Between the twelfth from Duisburg (26 points) and the FSV Zwickau (20) on the first relegation zone are just six points. Aue (24) is also in the thick of things. The FC Erzgebirge Aue got off to a bad start under Timo Rost (44). This is the first time he has officially commented on this.

After three points from the first nine games, the 44-year-old had to go. Three draws at the start and then six defeats – including a 0-1 draw at home to Dresden and Zwickau – cost him his head.

Rost only came to the violets in the summer after Bayreuth was relegated to the second division and built a new squad that initially had huge problems. He couldn’t fix it all. He had to go after the 1:3 at 1860 Munich. Moreover, at the time, the violets were last.

Now he commented on Instagram for the first time about his short time in the Ore Mountains. “

The experiences gained allow us to grow and develop further. It was a learning experience for me,” he wrote: “I’m pleased to see that the squad I put together in a very short time after being relegated to the second division is performing better and better in the second half of the season, as predicted. I am sure he will hold the class. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for the players.”

The quarrels surrounding the Presidium also occurred during his time. He couldn’t help the unrest, it certainly inhibited him along with a few other mistakes. All in all, it was a bad moment to take over the team.

Now everything is ticked off for him: “Personally, I’m looking forward to new tasks and I’m excited to see where the path will lead.”
