München – A few days before the first leg in the round of 16 in the Champions League defender Dayot Upamecano (24) from the French champions Paris Saint-Germain FC Bayern Munich reported fit.

“There was a problem, but that won’t stop me from playing,” the kicker told “Sport Bild”. He could play both on Saturday afternoon in the Bundesliga against VfL Bochum (3.30 p.m.) and on Tuesday evening (9 p.m.) in Paris.
Upamecano missed FC Bayern’s recent 4-2 win at VfL Wolfsburg due to problems in the adductor area and toe. He also had trouble speaking out loud for a long time.
“After the games I often had a sore throat and was hoarse. That’s why I got help: I improved my vocal cords with an opera singer,” explained Upamecano and continued: “We sang together, he taught me exercises. Now I can I can call out loud, give directions all over the place.”

Before the task in Paris, the defender of the German record champions is very confident.
“It’s going to be a big game for both teams. We have to be ready and fit,” said the Frenchman. “Our goal is a win in Paris, we’ll go in with that attitude. We’re not playing for a draw, that wouldn’t be Bayern-like.”
