It seems that the details about the long-awaited Fantastic Four movie are on the way.as revealed by Kevin Feige (head of Marvel) in an extensive interview with Entertainment Weekly.

After talking a bit about how Phase 4 introduced mutants like Namor and Kamala Khan and how great Marvel’s mutants are as a whole, Kevin Feige noted that “Fantastic Four is the foundation for everything that came after in the comics”.

“Certainly, there have been versions of it [en pantalla], but never inhabiting the MCU narrative,” he continued. “And that’s a really exciting thing for us. People will be able to know more about this soon. We plan for it to be a big pillar in the future of the MCU, in the same way that they have been in the comics for 50 or 60 years.“.

Hardly any details are known about this long-awaited film, other than the fact that will begin Phase 6 of the UCM on November 8, 2024as Feige revealed at the San Diego Comic-Con which was held in 2022. The project was first announced in 2019, when Disney acquired Fox, granting Marvel Studios the rights to The Fantastic Four and other characters such as Deadpool and the X-Men.

Given the importance of comics, Fans have long been waiting for a more accomplished version of The Fantastic Four on the big screen.. The group first received the big-budget treatment with the Fantastic Four movie that was released in 2005, which had negative reviews but decent performance. This was followed by 2007’s Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer, which disappointed at the box office, leading to the cancellation of a third film.
