A series like The Last of Us, loaded with tension and drama at almost every turn, can be exhausting for its cast. But there are always more recreational and fun moments like this anecdote shared by Pedro Pascal to IGN during the last Fan Fest celebration. In it, he recounts how he used one of the show’s creepiest scenarios to scare the hell out of his fellow lead, Bella Ramsey.

Pedro Pascal, who plays Joel in the adaptation of The Last of Us on HBO Max, explains that he took advantage of the filming of a scene, in which the main group flees from a quarantine zone through a very dark tunnel, to play a practical joke on Bella Ramseywho plays Ellie in the series, and the rest of the performers.

“None of it was calculated, it was all very spontaneous,” recalls Pascal. “But one time I scared Bella to death…they were being little kids on the set while we were escaping from the Quarantine Zone and they were so scared they had to go through the big tunnel…basically they were in there and They were like, ‘This is so creepy.’ And I took the opportunity to scare them to deathsays Pascal, demonstrating how he scared Ramsey with a yell. “I haven’t been this happy in my whole life.”

We have already seen how the off-camera affection between the two protagonists of The Last of Us is evidentand although this joke scared poor Bella Ramsey to death, it is undoubtedly a consequence of how well they got along during the filming of the HBO Max series.

A few months ago we also saw a photo shared by Bella Ramsey on her social networks, where she spoke of Pedro Pascal as “the ultimate father”, posing with her and Nico Parker, who plays Sarah (Joel’s daughter) in The Last of us.

During the IGN Fan Fest we also learned another anecdotethis time starring Bella Ramsey, because the most intense action scene in The Last of Us left the actress with a black eye.
