One of the producers of Spider-Man: Crossing the Multiverse, Chris Miller, wanted to address the latest rumors that Tom Holland, the actor who plays the character in Sony films, could appear. And he hasn’t denied it at all.
In a new Empire magazine interview with Chris Miller, he is asked directly about the possibility of seeing (or rather hearing) Tom Holland in Spider-Man: Crossing the Multiverse, which was followed by an answer that no doubt will excite some fans: “Anything is possible in the multiverse.”
Although we do not know if Tom Holland will make his expected appearance in Spider-Man: Crossing the multiverse, the truth is that He was also about to make his appearance in Spider-Man: A New Universe, the film that precedes this new production. Christopher Miller and Phil Lord wanted the three actors who had brought Spider-Man to life in live action (Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire) be part of the film’s post-credits scene. However, it seems that Sony rejected the possibility, probably because of the surprise they had in store for us in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
We don’t know many details about Spider-Man: Crossing the Multiverse, as its production is being kept an interesting secret. A few days ago we did know that the film will have six different artistic styles, which will be a huge leap from what was seen in A New Universe.
Spider-Man: Crossing the Multiverse will hit theaters on June 2, 2023. The third film in this saga, titled Beyond the Spider-Verse, will arrive in 2024.
