Duncanville Season 4: Release Date, Cast, And Everything We Know So Far

Duncanville’s first season started on February 16, 2020. Fox renewed the show for a second season, which came out on May 23, 2021. The first episode of Duncanville’s third season, which has 10 episodes, came out on May 1, 2022, and the rest of the episodes are set to come out soon. Every Monday, the FOX network plans to air a 30-minute episode.

FOX network hasn’t said anything about whether or not season 4 of Duncanville will be renewed. This could be because season 3 is still in the process of being released, but based on how well the previous seasons of Duncanville did, we’re sure that season 4 will be renewed soon.

Will there be a Season 4 of Duncanville?

After three seasons, the Fox network said in June 2022 that the show was over. Because of this, the show has no possibility of being renewed by the channel, as many original shows on major streaming platforms have been said to be canceled this year.

Even though the show had a fair number of fans who wanted to see more seasons, Duncanville has been canceled. This is sad because the show could have gotten better with a better script, and stronger character arcs, and a stronger script.

Duncanville Plot

During the last three seasons, we went on different adventures with Duncan as he lived his made-up life. It was a fun ride, but it’s over now, which is too bad. Since the show is no longer on the air, there is no official plot summary for Season 4 of Duncanville. Without it, it’s hard to know where a story will go.

But if there is a fourth season, it is not going to differ from the first three. We will, of course, be able to witness Duncan do stupid things and makeup stories in his head again. We hope to see more of Duncan and how he gets along with his family. After all, it’s not often that characters change in a good way. So far, this is all we know about the plot of a possible fourth season.

Duncanville Season 4 Expected Cast

We’re sure that Duncanville’s fifth season will also be about Duncan’s family, so we can anticipate seeing characters from previous seasons. Duncanville has the following people in its cast:

  • Amy Poehler voiced the central character of Duncan
  • Amy Poehler also voiced Annie, the mother of Duncan, Kimbley, and Jing
  • Ty Burrell voiced Jack, the rock-obsessed plumber, and Duncan’s dad
  • Riki Lindhome voiced Kimberly, Duncan’s 12-year-old awkward younger sister
  • Zach Cherry voiced the character of Wolf, Duncan’s boring friend
  • Yassir Lester voiced the character of Yangzi, Duncan’s friend who is a Twitter influencer
  • Joy Osmanski voiced Jing
  • Rashida Jones voiced the character of Mia Abara, Duncan’s secret crush
  • Wiz Khalifa voiced the character of Mr. Mitch, Duncan, and his friends’ teacher

What could have been the plot of Duncanville Season 4?

As of July 21, 2022, all 10 episodes of Season 3 of Duncanville have been shown. The season ended on June 26, 2022. The 10th episode is just called “Moneyballs.” It was written by Andrew Lee and directed by Marius Alecse. About 0.52 million people in the US are expected to watch it. The official summary of the episode says, “After Duncan gets a job and starts helping pay the bills, he thinks he should be the head of the family. Jack wants to impress his dad and show that he is in charge of his household.”

In the last episode, Jack keeps trying to impress Dick while the rest of the Harris family takes him out to dinner and Duncan plans a house party at home without telling anyone. Once they’re back home, Dick tells Jack that he can’t use their credit cards because he was too nice to Duncan. On the advice of his friends, Duncan takes a job at Ray’s hardware store and uses his newfound money to pay Kimberly and Jing to work as maids and talk with a British accent, and also to buy things for the family.

When he sees that Jack is using his new job to try to impress Dick even more, he acts just like Dick. When Jack and Duncan get angry on the roof, Annie calls Dick and asks him to come to stop the fight. He gets them to admit that they like each other, and in the end, Dick admits that he likes Jack. The family decides to keep the hole so they’re able to see the stars even when they fall through the roof. Jack shuts the door with a nail gun while Dick grumbles in the bathroom.

Fans won’t be able to guess how these characters would have grown because the show has been canceled. If the fourth season had been renewed, the story would have gone on from here and expanded to show how the characters interact and explore other plots. This would have made fans more likely to stick with the show for a while.

How many episodes will there be in Season 4 of Duncanville?

Duncanville Season 4 Release Date

As was already said, Fox canceled Duncanville, which means no date for the 4th season to come out. To change this decision, fans must find a way to get more people to watch the show. The streaming platform had to make this choice because the show got terrible ratings and fewer people watched it. But we have seen in the past that a strong response from the viewers can change decisions. But in this case, we don’t have much hope.
