This was the result of an MRI examination on Sunday afternoon in the Carl Gustav Carus University Hospital, as the SGD reported on its website in the evening.
Fortunately, the initial suspicion of an ankle fracture was not confirmed. Will was able to start his journey home together with the black and yellow medical team.
In the case of the first diagnosis, the strong duel driver would have to pause much longer. Typically, the downtime for a broken ankle is three to four months.
The 23-year-old left foot twisted his ankle during a defensive action in the 75th minute of the narrow win in Paderborn against Verl, then had to be treated for minutes, replaced and taken to the hospital. Jonas Oehmichen (18) came on for him.
