Dynamo notes against Verl: Big cheers, but not just brilliant achievements
Not consistently well played, but still won in the end. This is also reflected in the TAG24 grades after Dynamo Dresden’s victory at SC Verl.
Paderborn – Not consistently well played, but still won in the end. The 3:2 (2:1)-Sieg against an unbeaten SC Verl team in 2023 shows this Dynamo Dresden has a completely different quality than that from 2022. Sports director Ralf Becker also knows this: “You believe in your own strength again,” he said at half-time. However, the TAG24 grades show that not everyone was able to convince.
Stefan Drljaca: Made several saves in the second half and confirmed his good form. But he also conceded two goals, for which he cannot superficially do anything. Note: 2
Kyrylo Melichenko (bis 90.): The first quarter of an hour uncertainty factor, then struggled a bit. But why he didn’t go into a duel at 0:1 remains his secret. Note: 4
Jakob Lewald: Significantly safer than the next man Knipping, but not without fault at 2:2. That was his opponent, who was completely free to head in behind his back. Note: 3
Debut goal to victory: Dynamo stroke of luck Lemmer is recommended for higher tasks!
Tim Knipping: Fighter through and through, kept throwing himself into the balls. But was a bit over the top in the second round and therefore also faulty in duels and positional play. Note: 4
Jonathan Meier: The only change compared to the Halle game. With both goals conceded with large proportions because he allowed the flanks. There was also the fifth yellow card. Note: 5
Ahmet Arslan outstanding again, Dennis Borkowski in good form
Ahmet Arslan: More or less directly involved in all three goals. He did the first one himself, the second one really irritated him, and the third one he hung up on. Perfect! Note: 1
Paul Will (until 78th): Ultimately, his really strong fighting performance is only small consolation. Because there is a risk of a long outage. Note: 3
Niklas Hauptmann (until 68.): Had a really strong scene. Los Angeles keeper Thiede scraped his shot off the line in the 31st minute. Solid performance by “Haupe”. Note: 3
Dynamo is lucky when Will is injured: the first suspicion is not confirmed!
Christian Conteh (bus 90.): Probably broken through on the right flank more than 10 times. But there was always a problem with the last pass. Bad luck with the post shot (67th) Note: 3
Stefan Kutschke: Fighting up front, but also without a shot on goal. It wasn’t just his fault, because he wasn’t wanted either. In the end it worked better several times. Note: 4
Dennis Borkowski (until 68th): The template to 1:1 and the hit to 2:1 were his scorer points seven and eight. Five goals and three assists show that they are in good shape. Note: 2
