HSV got off to a good start after the winter break and have taken seven points from the previous three games. After two victories over Eintracht Braunschweig (4:2) and Hansa Rostock (2:0), a completely crazy 3:3 at 1. FC Heidenheim followed, in which the Rothosen were already 0:3 behind at the break.
